At Ore Pharmaceuticals, we apply our proprietary knowledge in integrative pharmacology to identify potential new uses for drug candidates that have failed clinical development for reasons other than safety.
We have two primary sources of drug compounds to which we apply our Indication-Seeking Program. We carefully select all compounds, based on specific business, economic, and technical criteria:
- Compounds from our current pharmaceutical partners. Each company provides specific compounds for our evaluation. These compounds have already been assessed as safe in human clinical trials but have been discontinued by our partners for their original indications.
- Compounds available in the public domain. These compounds have been previously assessed as safe and are not subject to patent or other rights that would block our development and commercialization of such compounds for a newly-discovered use.
