Ore Pharmaceuticals has developed two parallel sets of high-content in vitro cell-based profiling technologies to efficiently analyze the impact of compounds on major disease relevant physiological pathways:
- Our Phenodetect Panel is a comprehensive collection of cellular and cell-based surrogate disease assays that are predictive models of the physiological response to therapeutic intervention. These assays provide us the ability to monitor the impact of compounds on a diverse range of cellular functions, including whole cell physiology, biochemical activities, membrane integrity, intra-cellular trafficking, motility, differentiation/maturation, and other relevant cellular events that help focus disease hypothesis generation.
- Our Pathfinder Panel allows dissection of multi-step intracellular signal transduction cascades across a wide selection of cell lines representative of the major organs, tissues, and cell lineages of the human body. It utilizes a broad collection of well-defined genetic elements to provide insight regarding the capacity of a compound to alter defined signal transduction events. This helps us identify what signal transduction pathways a compound modulates as well as cell-type specificity. This technology permits a rapid and high-throughput profiling of compounds on a wide spectrum of biological systems and is a key component of the integrated pharmacological approach employed by the Indication-Seeking Program.
